Growing Conditions

This blend of Grenache, Grenache Gris and Mourvedre grapes is our first vintage Bee Pink, and only 500 bottles were made. It’s made in the Provence style – very pale in colour, but with plenty of delicate fruit flavours.

A good start of the year with dry weather in spring and early summer. The steady Tramontane wind helped develop and concentrate the grapes. The late summer brought some rain, which kept the vines healthy, and preserved the delicacy of the fruit flavours.

Nose

Aromas of summer berries, especially redcurrants and raspberries.

Palate

Bone dry and very refreshing, with smooth layers of red berry fruits. There are subtle hints of spice on the finish.

***Body***: Medium

Appearance

A very delicate pink.

Food Pairing

Delicious with a salade nicoise, or a chicken salad, and the taste will transport you to the South of France, even on a misty November day.
